EVA material (ethylene-vinyl acetate) occupies a special place among modern polymers. It is an environment-friendly highly-efficient foam rubber – composite polymer material, classified as polyolefin. In spite of its porous structure, the material described is fully unable to absorb moisture while its resistance to deformation can achieve quite high rates. For instance, a sheet having density only 0.25 gram per cubic centimeter Shore hardness achieves 70. And what is equally important, elasticity figures remain almost unchanged! Thickness of Evaplast produced at present varies from 2 to 50 mm. There are no limits with regard to colors; therefore a color scheme is extremely diversified. Besides, this material is absolutely odorless, what is of prime importance when it is used as floor covering in residential and public buildings. Evaplasts are cut by knives or scissors (when being laid on the floor), as well as by blanking (when being used for shoe soles).
